What is Reiki ?

Reiki (pronounced “ray-kee”) is a holistic, non-invasive energy healing modality originating from Japan.

Developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, Reiki combines ancient wisdom with modern techniques to promote physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Key Principles:

How Reiki Works:

❀ Energy Transfer: The Reiki energy flows through the practitioner’s hands into the client’s energy field.

❀ Energy Balance: The Reiki energy balances and harmonizes the client’s energy field.

Reiki Process

➀ Initial Consultation: Discuss client’s needs and concerns.

➁ Preparation: Client lies down or sits comfortably.

➂ Hand Positions: Practitioner places hands on or above specific positions ( on ‘chakras’ or energy centres).

➃ Energy Flow: Reiki energy flows through the practitioner’s hands.

➄ Session Duration: Typically 30-60 minutes.

➅ Follow-up: Discuss client’s experience and provide guidance.
